We typically begin our engagements with a low risk, low cost SVA (Strategic Value Assessment).

The SVA has proven to be a valuable investment for our clients whether they utilize Exential beyond the SVA or not.

We offer two SVA programs based on client need.

Our 30 Day SVA Program Will:

• Identify your current capabilities
• Provide an organizational framework for the I.T./Business initiative
• Include business alignment analysis
• Identify the business value of the I.T./Business initiative
• Identify the level of organizational readiness for the IT/Business initiative
• Discover organizational gaps that may exist prior to further project investment
• Confirm/quantify the business needs and drivers

Our 60 - 90 Day Program Will:

• Address all items listed above
• Include a formal Business Case Model and Justification/ROI
• Identify a Project Roadmap including a phased, low risk approach with formal project plan, suggested methodology, internal and external time and cost estimates

The SVA will not produce a complete statement of business requirements or provide business context that is missing or incomplete. This level of comprehensive requirements analysis is typically the next step in the SVA Roadmap.

Where do we go from here?
80% of our clients choose to utilize us for traditional, on-site and offsite consulting based on project (hourly) or program (“time boxed”, deliverables-based) engagements. We’ll help you to decide which of our solutions will work best for you.

"Virtual Consultant"
This service gives you the opportunity to take advantage of Exential’s methodologies, processes and vertical knowledge at a fraction of the traditional consulting cost with little or no travel expense.

The "Virtual Consultant" programs utilize the same proven content, tools and methodologies as the traditional consulting services we offer, but are conducted remotely via phone/web conference and include unlimited email support on a monthly or quarterly basis. Typically, we will begin these “virtual” engagements with an on site program “kickoff” meeting, and conduct the balance of the engagement remotely as described, with on site visits only as required (and at additional cost). The “Virtual Consultant” programs are not ideal for every client scenario. However, when properly applied, this approach saves our clients up to 90% off traditional consulting engagements while providing 100% of the value.

Traditional Onsite Consultation
For some businesses the best solution is hands-on, onsite assistance from a member of our staff. We are available to visit your office and implement any of the processes or technologies that were recommended during the SVA and to address any of your I.T. needs.
